Two legal texts related to products safety has just been adopted by the European Commission.

Those texts are related to:

- an initiative to repeal Decision 2004/905/EC on guidelines for producers and distributors to notify dangerous consumer products to the competent national authorities ;

- an initiative concerning the Safety Gate Portal with a new implementing act specifying how this information will be passed on to the relevant national authorities.
